How do bids work?
Place a bid above the current price (in $50 increments by default). The highest bid when the timer hits zero wins. To stop last-second sniping, any bid placed in the final 2 minutes adds another 2 minutes to the clock so everyone gets a fair chance to respond.
What does the 10% buyer fee cover?
The flat 10% buyer fee is the only fee on the platform — sellers keep 100% of the vehicle price. The fee covers payment processing, escrow, dispute support, and platform maintenance.
How do I pick up a vehicle I won?
After payment is confirmed, you'll see pickup instructions and the yard's address on your dashboard. Bring a photo ID and a copy of your payment receipt. Most yards require pickup within 7 days.
Are titles guaranteed?
Title status (Clean, Salvage, Rebuilt, Lien/Abandoned, Parts Only, Missing) is disclosed on every listing. Always read the title disclosure before bidding. Yards must transfer the title as listed.
Do I need a dealer license to buy on Yard Link?
No. Yard Link is open to anyone 18 or older — you do not need a dealer license, a reseller certificate, or any special permits to register and bid. You are responsible for complying with any laws in your state that apply to registering, transporting, or dismantling the vehicle after purchase.
